What is a support group?

A support group is a group whose primary purpose is to reduce the isolation experienced by members after a loss of a baby. It focuses on the needs of its members who have been through a similar experience.

Topics covered

Normal grief reactions, sharing members personal stories, phases of grief, coping with anxiety and depression.

Goals

Within 8 sessions our goals are to decrease isolation, establishing a safe place to tell your story, facilitate a place where you feel understood and supported through a very difficulty time. Identifying your strengths and integrating loss and moving forward.
